We can offer customers AVL expertise locally, from simulation, to engineering and testing. Our Technical Center is equipped with state-of-the-art testing facilities dedicated to electrified powertrains, battery packs and control systems. Customers working on batteries can rely on our High Voltage Lab, based on a lean manufacturing concept – a highly efficient workflow allows us to assemble and test up to three battery pack at the same time. In 2022 a new production line for the assembly of climatic chambers, specifically designed for cell testing, will be implemented. The line will be based on the principles of lean and 4.0 industry in order to reduce waste in terms of materials, resources and time.
