23 December 2022Continental Engineering Services (CES) will also exhibit at E-TECH EUROPE 2023.
Founded in 2006 as a provider of engineering services and components to the automotive industry, since then it has grown to over 2,200 employees worldwide, all of whom are now focused on the development and integration of highly complex components and systems across a range of business fields: driveline & electrification, chassis & braking systems, driver assistance & autonomous driving plus interior systems. The manufacturing facilities have grown to cover a number of sites across Europe, serving customers worldwide. The fully-owned subsidiary of Continental AG has also diversified into several key new markets including rail, shipping, mining, aerospace as well as smart city infrastructure.
Within the field of driveline & electrification, CES supports customers with software, hardware, electromagnetic and systems engineering services for both traditional internal combustion engine applications and for electrified drive systems. For low voltage we have experience with ECU, actuator and central domain controllers, while for high voltage we work on electric machines, inverters and converters, robotic charging systems, ancillaries systems.
CES is the home of high voltage electrification within Continental, serving the low and medium volume markets. The products that can be developed are those where existing designs do not offer the necessary performance to meet vehicle goals. CES can offer services including design, development, validation and test for any programme looking to push powertrain technology boundaries. This is particularly relevant where customers are looking to extend performance of existing systems (e.g. high power 48 V starter generators) or to raise operating voltages (e.g. 800 V systems).
Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and with branches in three continents, since 2021 CES has also established a front office in Torino to better serve the Italian market, also including a growing local engineering team.
Continental Engineering Services (CES) is pleased to welcome you to its stand at Bologna Exhibition Centre, 19-20 April 2023.
