In the field of electric vehicles and batteries, CSI is involved in the development, testing, and homologation of automotive batteries, performing safety, performance, vibration, mechanical stress, temperature stability, and corrosion tests in compliance with international standards.
CSI also specializes in the characterization of batteries and traction accumulators for electric and hybrid vehicles, using state-of-the-art instruments such as climatic cells, vibrating benches, and battery testers. Additionally, CSI provides full 3D scanning of battery components and post-crash integrity verification.
IMQ, one of the largest European hubs for the testing and certification of electrical and electronic products and systems, supports customers to comply with the new Battery Regulation. IMQ’s EMC test facilities include test chambers in Milan, Macerata, the semi-anechoic chamber in Bollate, and the reverberation chamber in Turin, among the few facilities in Italy accredited by Accredia for ISO 11452-11 and EN 61000-4-21 for automotive tests.
