Since 1974 Brar Elettromeccanica has been specialized in the design and manufacture of high current solutions for the industrial market.

The Automotive Unit is dedicated to the electric automotive industry in accordance with IATF 16949.

The Company supplies customized power distribution systems for electric vehicles such as busbars and flexible connections (FlexBRAR – the multilayer flexible busbars).

FlexBRAR, the multilayer flexible busbars are used for the connection to the electric motor, inverter and battery pack where it is mandatory to compensate for assembly tolerances, allow for thermal expansion and to absorb vibrations. The connection parts of the multi-layer flexible busbars are obtained by press-welding bonding and the manufacturing process includes stamping, bending, self-clinching nut assembly and cleaning.
