Toyo Tanso was the first company in Japan to successfully develop isotropic graphite and produce it on an industrial scale.

New developed product is CNovel™: a porous carbon powder material with a unique pore structure known as interconnected pores. The “Inter-connected pores” promote the internal diffusion of substances inside pores. Taking advantage of the pores’ adsorption functions, CNovel™ extends its usage in applications such as electrical and heat energy storage devices.

To meet the needs of an expanding global market, Toyo Tanso has established manufacturing sites and sales offices in more than 10 countries around the world, including China, America, Europe and Asia. Toyo Tanso Europe SpA is in Italy, with production plant in Roncello (MB), equipped to machine his own graphite and realize customized products according to customer demand.
