UniBo Motorsport is an ambitious university project of University of Bologna that started in 2009, born from the desire of just 10 students to get involved, and that now has more than 250.

The team is dedicated to designing and building three prototypes: an electric motorcycle, a car with an electric motor, and a car with an internal combustion engine.

In recent years, the UniBo Motorsport team has also set itself apart from the rest by achieving excellent results in competitions, winning first place in the Moto Engineering Italy competition in Imola with the two-wheeled vehicle, first place at Formula Student Spain in Barcelona and third place in Formula Student Czech Republic with the combustion car, which led it to placing 13th in the World Ranking.

UniBo Motorsport also competes in virtual competitions with Vi-Grade Virtual Formula, where it clinched first place with the combustion car and placed second with the electric car.

The project certainly presents a high educational contribution that allows hundreds of students to approach a real business reality for the first time, preparing them for what will be their entry into the world of work.

At E-TECH EUROPE 2023, the team UniBo Motorsport will put on display the electric-motorbike Minerva GN, the electric car Elettra GN and the prototype of a driverless electric car 1:10 scale reproduction.
